Our Hunter Packet Booking Your Next Hunt With TEN26 OUTDOORS Getting Started: Once you’ve contacted us and agree to an available date, a hunter’s packet will be sent to you for review. This packet, along with the deposit, must be returned prior to your hunt. Your deposit of $250 will then be credited towards your trophy. Each additional day, if available, will be $250. Guest or non-hunters are welcome to join at $50 per day when space allows. If you choose to not harvest an animal, then the deposit will apply towards a daily ranch rate. This does not include gratuity. There is no charge for rescheduling or cancellation if it is greater than 7 days prior to your booked date. If less than 7 days, the deposit will no longer be refundable. Additional days can be discussed if there are no scheduling conflicts. At this time, we recommend one week prior to arrival that you verify rifle / bow accuracy and be sure you are familiar and confident in your equipment as we owe it to our query and want your hunt to be a stress-free enjoyable time. Once you arrive on the day of your hunt, your guide will verify all documents have been completed and go over the ranch safety rules. The Hunt: Hunts usually consist of 30 minutes prior to sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. We offer both rifle and bow hunts depending on animal, weather, and or size of group. This may also determine the tactics used to harvest your trophy. Your guide will work to insure you have a shot opportunity on the game you desire or help find an alternate trophy if needed. Post Harvest: Once the trophy has been recovered, your outfitter can cape and quarter for taxidermy and processing. We work with local reputable vendors if needed to process and or mount your trophy if you do not have someone in mind. We try very hard to help make your hunt enjoyable and stress free so you can enjoy the time outdoors with your friends and family. We accept cash / check. • Valid Texas hunting license. • Weapon sighted in prior to arrival (if needed your guide can provide firearm) • If the guide feels that the hunter is not proficient and or safe with his or her firearm, the guide reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the hunt. • Cooler to transport harvest • Bring drinks, snacks, & food • A wounded animal is considered a kill and hunter will be responsible for trophy fee. No exceptions. • Recovery dog is available through a third party and payment must be arranged prior to dog being worked. • If doe hunting, insure there are no button or shed antlers as this could become a costly mistake. • Your guide will assist you in shot placement & animals to be harvested to insure a safe and successful hunt.
